SALVATORE FERRAGAMO SIGNORINA MISTERIOSA

Mystery is one of the concepts that is slowly vanishing from our world. I don't know if you concur with my notion, but somehow I get the feeling that secrets no longer exist or that they've completely lost their charm. Through the media and social networks, people nowadays are able to discover anything about anyone in the blink of an eye, from thoughts, important life moments to home interiors. I remember that before the photos of celebrities and their surroundings could be seen exclusively in specialized magazines, and now we're literally capable to sketch the rooms layout of somebody's residence. To make matters worse, all of this is being done voluntarily. There's nothing wrong with healthy communication and I understand that influencers consider their followers as a wider family with which they're enthusiastic to share some jubilees, birthdays or wedding anniversaries, but some have gone so far as to even expose childbirth to the public. From my perspective, something similar to this is vastly excessive and I think that we must keep certain events in the narrow circle of our closest. I have no illusions and no doubt that inquisitiveness and sticking the noses in other people's business has consistently been part of human nature, except that with the evolution of technology the masses have been given a powerful „weapon“ to satisfy their desires, and, as I said, individuals consciously facilitates it and serve their intimacy on a silver platter, apparently not realizing that they only deepens the vulgar passions and obssesive curiosity that demands more and more. In such a constellation, as the shining stars on a dark night skies, stands out those who cherish their privacy, so many are wondering what are they hiding, and the puzzle in which they're immersed intensly tickles the effervescent imagination, as is the case with olfactory features of Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Misteriosa perfume.
Salvatore Ferragamo is globally renowned as a shoemaker who, at the age of nine, created the first pair of shoes for his sister and already found his calling. After one-year apprenticing in Naples, he opened the store and workshop in the house of his parents, but, on the outbreak of WW I, he emigrated to the USA, more acurrately Boston. There he joined his brothers as an employee of cowboy boots factory, and soon convinced them to relocate to Hollywood. Initially he started the craft of repairing and moulding the custom shoes, however he couldn't figure out why nice looking ones weren't comfortable too. Therefore he studied anatomy at University of Southern California and continued to improve and perfect himself. Executing his acquired knowledge and developing new models, he swiftly achieved success and signed contracts with film studios, designing footwear for acting icons. Among the most remarkable ones were definitely rainbow-colored platforms, specially devised for Judy Garland as a tribute to the song Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz. Attaining the triumph in America, he decided to return to Florence, Italy, where he assembled a team of 700 expert professionals to produce 350 pairs of handmade shoes per day, and they adorned the feet of illustrious ladies such as Eva Perón and Marilyn Monroe. The Salvatore Ferragamo brand still enjoys impeccable reputation in the fields of leather goods, accessories and clothing, and they've enriched the offer with perfumes as well.
In 2011., the introductory from Signorina collection was presented, Signorina Eleganza ensued in 2014., and the launching of Signorina Misteriosa occured in 2016. These perfumes, a noble fusion of timeless elegance, modernity and boldness, mirrors the sensibilities of chic girls recognizable by their unique style. Each of them strives to depict miscellaneous roles they play, so that Signorina is concomitantly sophisticated and audacious, Eleganza is genteel and seductive, and Misteriosa is provocatively unpredictable. A few months ago Signorina Ribelle was marketed, the rebel, whose spirit, I believe, is unnecessary to closely explain. The assortment is chaperoned by a campaign and the hashtag #mylifeisaplay in which every perfume matches the women of different and distinctive character, and is also intended for a particular period of the day, so according to that principle Misteriosa embodies an evening variant of the original fragrance. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but Cinderella is the premier figure that comes to my mind, to whom the symbolism of this perfume would be ideally suited. Surely you all are well familiar with this fairy tale, the story of how she attend the ball and disappears at midnight, leaving the vitrified shoe as the sole clue, and I'm envisioning that throughout all of it she's been escorted by the magical aroma of Signorina Misteriosa.
Of course, the glass bottle is in black, decorated with a bow that emphasizes femininity, gold-plated details on the cap and with the name printed in auric letters. The combination of black and gold always manifest itself as refined and graceful, and the vial, in harmony with the title, conceals an interesting and intriguing scent woven out of wild blackberry and neroli notes, which indicates bitter freshness. Orange blossom and sensual tuberose contributes to oriental-floral facet, patchouli attaches the suggestion of poshness, while the base is established on black vanilla mousse. The prevailing and commanding aspect is permeation of vanilla and orange blossom, and I would classify it in the category of fruity-sweet perfumes, yet not overwhelmingly – the two mentioned levels are properly and optimally balanced. Due to its gaiety, It's more appropriate for younger generations and when I recall better, it's the sweetest of all I own. I wear it predominantly during winter because its tinges are exceptionally and sensationally expressed in cold days.
I'm a person who is essentially guided by the tenet „live and let live“ and I don't interfere with lives of others. If someone want to convey something to me, they'll do it themselves without my imposition and indiscreet asking. Quite a number of bloggers which I gladly visited in the beginnings of their careers immediately ceased to amaze me at the very second they began to push their lives into the spotlight, because I really can't grasp how anyone can be happy with exhibiting their everyday life to the plain view. Whatever we do, we can perform it by focusing on the direct subject, that is, by adhering to the given topic. Perhaps we won't muster millions of fans in that way, but will be rewarded with something incomparably more valuable: people who will respect us, appreciate our efforts and who'll be recurrent on our profile because they genuinely like what we're talking about and what we're displaying. On the other hand, with a measure of enigma we can attract the attention evident in questions „who is that girl“ or „what perfume she is using“, as is repeated on every occasion when I apply Signorina Misteriosa.
Have you ever tried this perfume? Or some other from Signorina line? What are your impressions? Write me in the comments.
Best wishes till the next post!

  41. I do agree with you. A sense of mystery is disappearing from the world. We have given up our privacy too easily, I think. We all will perhaps regret some of the things we shared. It's an interesting dilemma. In one sense, sharing can help us connect with others, but in another revealing too much can make us feel vulnerable and even isolated. Celebrities and bloggers often share their lives with their followers and I think sometimes themselves can get very lost in all of that. I think the problem is when people start to exploit their own personal life for publicity because once you cross that line it is hard to get behind it.
This perfume does sound wonderful. Signora Misteriosa is a lovely name for sure. I haven't tried any other products by Salvatore Ferragamo but I enjoyed reading about the history of his brand.

I consider myself a very private person. When it comes to my blog and instagram, I like to keep my personal life private!
